Toyota Etios Liva facelift is on verge of being launched in India this week. Sporting mild cosmetic upgrades, new Liva will come with external changes such as a reworked body coloured front grille. Other than this, there will not be any major tweak done to the exteriors of the new Liva. Side profile and rear end of the vehicle will remain unchanged.

Just like external tweaks, modifications made inside the cabin are also subtle. Range topping VX-D variant will come equipped with leather wrapped steering wheel and door armrests will come with a new fabric insert. Besides these, area around gearlever now features chrome garnish, additional features like electrically adjustable wing mirrors and rear parking sensors will be embedded in the hatchback.

Preeminent safety feature such as driver side airbag will be offered as a standard fare across entire range of new Liva and the high-end variant will continue to come equipped with passenger and driver side airbag.

Engine specifications will remain unchanged and the vehicle will continue to be powered with 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.4 litre diesel powertrain. In its segment, the hatchback will rival the likes of new Hyundai Elite i20 launched two months ago in India, overhauled Chevrolet Sail U-VA, upgraded Volkswagen Polo and upcoming Maruti Swift facelift. New Toyota Etios Liva is expected to be priced between Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 7 lakh.
