A recent survey conducted by JD Power Asia Pacific has stated Toyota dealers to be most satisfied ones as compared to dealers from other auto companies like Honda, Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki. The study recorded 919 points on a scale of 1,000. Whereas, the overall dealer satisfaction stood at 826 points on a scale of 1,000. Of the 9 study factors like - marketing and sales activities; product; vehicle ordering and delivery; sales team; parts; warranty claims; after-sales team; training; and support from manufacturer, Toyota is stated to be have outperformed on eight of them.
Closely following, Maruti Suzuki held the second position with a score of about 885 and Honda at third at 884. With an rise in about 25 points, Hyundai managed to claim fourth position at 883 points. Amongst a list of common complaints, about 27% of dealers reported issues like lack of adequate support for launching new models and about 24% dealers have indicated that they need more range of vehicles to compete in market.
