      Tata Nano diesel spotted, hints an early 2013 launch!

      A test mule of much awaited diesel version of small car Tata Nano was recently spotted in India. Tata Nano Diesel, which is scheduled to be launched in the country in the first quarter of the next year, has been long awaited in the Indian market. The entry of the Nano diesel is quite significant at this point of time in the country, when the petrol price is increasing rapidly.

      The Tata Nano diesel would be carrying a 0.7L engine at its heart which is expected to be delivering a peak power of 30 bhp. The highly fuel efficient diesel engine of Tata Nano, which the company is sourcing from Bosch and is claimed to deliver an exceptionally higher fuel economy of up to 40 km per liter, which would well prove the UPS of this car among the mileage conscious Indian buyers.

      As far as cosmetic upgrades are concerned, the Tata Nano diesel will be hosting a bigger grilled at both front and rear. It is also expected that the rear hatch of Nano diesel will be open able unlike the petrol version of the car.

      The launch of Nano diesel will certainly give this model an upper hand over its competitors as it will be the cheapest diesel run car in the Indian market.
