Skoda Auto India promotes If You Drink, We Drive in Mumbai for responsible driving

Taking care of its customers seems to be a responsibility being handled effectively by Skoda Auto India, domestic arm of the Czech auto maker Skoda. Chauffeur services are being provided to Skoda customers in Mumbai for the second year in a row, with an objective of promoting its program ‘If You Drink, We Drive’. During the last year, Skoda received overwhelming responses and feedback from its customers, with respect to the initiative of promoting safe and responsible driving.

Skoda Auto India promotes ‘If You Drink, We Drive’ in Mumbai

The program will run up to May 15, 2013 and a drop to home will be available for people reaching the match venues in Skoda cars. Even customers watching these matches at different clubs and restaurants throughout Mumbai can avail this service, as per a pre-defined procedure. However, 'If You drink, We Drive' facility will be made available to Skoda customers based upon strict verification. It can be availed only for the IPL matches that take place in Mumbai.

Commenting on the objectives behind his initiative by the Czech auto maker, Kamal Basu, Head of Marketing for Skoda Auto India said, “We had a tremendous response from our customers last season for this initiative. Following its success, we decided to continue ‘If You Drink, We Drive’ program this year too. Through this program, Skoda continues to spread awareness on road safety and safe driving in a ‘Simple Clever’ manner. With the ongoing game fever we want the ŠKODA owners to revel to the fullest without being worried about driving home safely.”

Skoda Auto India has spent a substantial time period of 12 years in the country and has established 106 outlets so far. Five models of the company are currently on sale, namely Superb, Laura, Yeti, Fabia and Rapid. With the unique ‘If You Drink, We Drive’ initiative, the company is looking increasing is brand value further among the domestic car enthusiasts.
