This journey can be quite a thing as the Royal Enfield riders will aim to reach the base camp for Mount Everest on their bikes, which is located at an elevation of 5200 km. The first edition of the trip had comprised only 17, however, the excitement of the trip have encouraged this year for 30 riders to take part. The route is extremely demanding as the riders will try to overcome some of the most treacherous terrains, slippery roads and hair pin bends. Moreover, they would have to go past four precarious yet magnificent mountain passes, with a pristine and scenic environment on the backdrop.

The trip is open for all riders who have a Royal Enfield and have that true motoring blood flowing in their veins. The registration fee for this exhilarating trip is 150000 INR. The riders would not have to worry about transporting their bikes to the capital of Nepal. All they need to do is to get their bikes up to Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh by 26th of August. From there, the company will get the machines transported to Nepal right up to Kathmandu. On the completion of the 14 day journey, the company will also re-transport it back to Lucknow, from where they can go back. The registration charges are inclusive of the accommodation fees and breakfast charges. Some days’ dinner charges are also included in it, though some days the riders will have to pay for it separately. However, the riders would have to keep in mind that fuel charges and lunch expenditure is not included in the registration fees. All said and done, this is going to be one of the most memorable road trips for all those who are going to take part.
