      Renault launches KWID App and KWID virtual showroom owing to overwhelming response

      Moving ahead from the Duster days, Renault has been one of the fastest growing brand in India. Recently, the company had launched an innovative marketing campaign via multiple media channels. The KWID hatchback is being positioned and promoted through the message and the theme #LiveForMore.

      For marketing campaign purpose Renault has been using traditional and new media models like print ads, TV Commercial, OOH, airports and metro train branding, digital media, radio, media integration in leading shows, on ground activations and two innovations by Renault, which are the Renault Virtual Showroom and the Renault KWID Mobile App. For the first time the company has launched the Renault KWID Virtual Showroom, that offers a live sales demonstration and objection handling portal. Here, prospects can come in and book a slot. At the designated slot, trained sales consultants will take the prospects through the car via a live video demo online. Then questions shall also be answered. The experience takes consumer selling to a whole new level. This level of innovation is not present even in other high involvement product categories, and will cater to the needs of the new age car buyers.

      Another innovative medium has been the Renault KWID App. It is a one stop app with all features, competition based comparisons, reviews, 360 degree view, etc. Interested customers can also select dealers and also proceed ahead to book a car via the app. The medium has reportedly set a new benchmark in consumer selling in the automobile category.

      Via the two innovations, the high impact multi-dimensional marketing campaign starts with print advertisements announcing ‘Bookings Open’. The new Renault KWID TV Commercial featuring Ranbir Kapoor aims to create excitement around the launch slated during the festive season, cutting across geographies and life stages. The outdoor campaign covers mall and college activations, and Renault will have a nationwide activation campaign.
