Wait for the much anticipated Yash Raj Films' action flick 'Dhoom 3' is finally over as the movie is expected to be released in December this year. YRF recently launched its teaser and is now out with the latest trailer, both of which have caused a flurry of excitement among the Indian film lovers. The trailer featuring Bollywood bigwigs Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif is creating a buzz online with so many people having viewing it on youtube, probably numerous times. Unlike the bikes and cars showcased in Hollywood action movies that invokes a wow in viewers, only few Bollywood movies have been able to meet the same standards. One of them being the latest in news, 'Dhoom 3', wherein viewers will see the use of premium vehicles in high-octane chase shots.

The two-minute and 46-second long trailer has Aamir Khan, riding a cool black bike and taking the centre stage with stunts that give a sudden adrenalin rush. His screen presence only makes the trailer more visually pleasing. From the visuals, it can be noticed that the bike used by Aamir Khan is BMW K1300R. The K1300R from BMW is one of the most technically advanced motorcycles in the market today. BMW K1300R boldly struts of its industrial design and intense strength. Like a muscled chest, its tank stretches forward from the rider seat with extensions protruding all the way up to the front headlights. The bike is a head turner that boasts of a massive exposed engines. BMW K1300R was launched in 2008 to replace BMW's flagship urban motorbike and it is still amongst the popular sports bike with a niche of its own. Apart from outlandish looks, it is loaded with features aplenty. This naked bike is powered by 6-speed manual gears, 4-valve per cylinders, liquid cooling and 4-stroke 1293 cc engine. With advanced features, BMW K1300R has the power to transcend other bikes that fall in the same league.

Dhoom 3 also stars Uday Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan who will reprise their roles as Ali Khan and Jai Dixit, as seen in Dhoom and Dhoom 2. The trailer shows them riding the yellow sportsbike 'BMW S1000RR'. This superbike comes with a long list of hi-tech features that were meticulously fitted to maximise its performance. BMW S1000RR comes equipped with a 999 cc four-cylinder, four stroke in-line engine with two overhead camshafts. The four riding modes available in BMW S1000RR is one of its most notable features, which makes adjusting power delivery, throttle response, Race ABS action and even Dynamic Traction Control easier. It is also loaded with an upside-down telescopic fork, accompanied by a 56-inch wheelbase. Combining all these features make this an easily manoeuvrable bike for auto aficionados.

As much as these super cool vehicles add a level of excitement and engagement to the action flicks; cars and bikes have to be true to character. For viewers, it is no longer acceptable just to place the most current or desirable product on the market in the movie, however, it should work for the movie and not seem like product placement. Despite the limited screen time, both the BMW K1300R and the BMW S1000RR are a perfect fit in the action-oriented Dhoom 3.

Apart from their penchant for riding swanky bikes and cars in movies, Dhoom 3 superstars have a fetish for top-of-the line vehicles. They spend tons of money to be the proud owner of tailored motors. While Abhishek Bachchan owns a customised Audi A8L, Aamir Khan has a Rolls-Royce Ghost worth a whooping Rs. 3 crore. Other celebrities like John Abrahim, known for his passion for bikes, loves to ride Yamaha R1 super bike and his contemporary Hrithik Roshan enjoys driving a Porsche 911 Carrera.
