Although no statistics have been revealed by the company officially, Maruti Suzuki is said to have generated superb revenue in the month of October. Speculations are rife that Maruti Suzuki is going to post a growth of up to 8 per cent, which can be considered quite impressive given the market conditions. Not only this, India's largest passenger car maker, reportedly, has registered best monthly sales figures for 2013, which, otherwise, has not been up to the mark for anyone. Hero MotoCorp, on the other hand, is on a roll in the Indian market, going from strength to strength. Sources have claimed that market leader in two-wheeler segment has outperformed and outclassed all its rivals by a long distance. It is being said that the Indian firm is going to achieve record breaking figures in October, some of which might touch an all-time landmark and subsequently, set a benchmark in the industry.

Analysts in the past have claimed that the state of two-wheeler market is much better off than that of four-wheelers. It is a known fact that there is a higher demand for motorcycles in the country than cars. Moreover, a high percentage of Indian people live in rural areas, which are directly affected by monsoons. 2013 has been pretty reasonable for Indian farmers in terms of monsoons that has lead to a good harvest. Notably, there is a lot of demand for motorcycles is rural areas as they are fuel-efficient, easy to handle and affordable. Industry experts feel that Hero MotoCorp is likely to continue this performance into the final few months of 2013. Notably, Splendor series of bikes have helped the firm to reach superb sales figures, staying at the top of market. In fact, in a recent media interaction, officials from the firm were pretty confident about Splendor series being able to perform much better than its competitors.

Maruti Suzuki, on the other hand, has benefited to a great extent from its brand value and best selling models, such as Alto 800, Swift DZire and Swift. In the festive season, the firm launched the anniversary edition of Alto 800 hatchback, which is expected to do really well. According to statistics, India's largest passenger car maker registered a growth of 2.89 per cent in the April-September period of 2013. Although the general sentiment in Indian market has remained pretty low-key, Maruti Suzuki has managed to stay afloat.

There are a few other auto makers that are expected to register good figures in October, sources have claimed. Recent reports have claimed that Honda has also performed exceptionally well during festive season. Ford and Hyundai, due to the success of EcoSport and Grand i10, respectively, are also likely to post excellent sales in October. If all these reports are correct then things are certainly looking bright for auto makers in India.
