Rajkumar Hirani recently suffered a fractured jaw as a result of a bike accident. He is soon expected to undergo surgery in Mumbai and might have to take some days off work. Riding on a new Royal Enfield Bullet, the 3 Idiots director has been admitted to the Lilavati Hospital and has not sustained any other major injury.
The accident took place early morning and he was straight away taken to ICU unit of the hospital. Aamir Khan has ensured the director’s fans that he is fine and will be soon released from the hospital. Cause of the accident is still not known and there is no involvement of any other vehicle is being reported.
Scheduled for surgery on Tuesday morning at 8 am, people close to him have reached the hospital along with other celebrities of Bollywood. He was riding in Pali, Bandra at the time of accident and it is reported that he lost control of the bike due to some reason and broke his jaw in the process.
Hirani is currently riding on PK’s success and will soon bring out a new movie. The new movie will be based on Sanjay Dutt and is expected to be his biopic which will involve his stardom days and the time he is spending in jail. Though he is not known to be a biking enthusiast, he might be trying one of his friend’s bikes. The director was supposedly working on editing of the new movie and was with his crew in the Bandra office before the accident happened.
