      R Bharath Raj Gets the coveted role of FMSCI President

      The Federation of Motor Sports Club of India for the new term has been appointed at the Annual General Meeting, which was held on December 29, 2014. The Chairman of Karnataka Motor Sports Club Chairman, R Bharath Raj, was elected as the president of the FMSCI on the basis of a unanimous vote. On the occasion of the 41st Annual General Meeting, this important decision was taken. The office was previously held by J Prithviraj, who hailed from the Coimbatore Auto Sports Club.

      Other important posts were also decided during this occasion. K D Madan was appointed as the vice-president. Madan was the representative from the Madras Motor Sports Club. Dr Vijay Mallya has been appointed as the chairman of honour. J Prithviraj on the other maintains his association with the FMSCI as a member of the council. Other members include Akbar Ebrahim from the Meco Motor Spots Private Limited from Chennai in Tamil Nadu; J Balamurugan from the Spitfire Motorsports Private Limited in Coimbatore; Ashwin Pandit from the Western India Sports Association, which is located in Nasik; Jayesh Desai from the Northern Motorsports in Noida and Manjeev Bhalla from the Himalayan Motor Sports Association in Shimla.
