The e-NV200 can be recharged completely in eight hours, or a segregate quick charging system can recharge the electric van up to 80 per cent in half an hour. Nissan’s new electric vehicle comes with the option of five and seven seat layout. Initially the vehicle will be sold at a price of 3.88 million yen confirmed Nissan, however later the prices could be slashed depending on the government subsidies offered on green-vehicle sales. The company is aiming at 200 units sales on monthly basis in Japan. Prior to this, Nissan also put on offer its first all electric vehicle LEAF in global market in 2010. The response received for LEAF was not as the company had expected.
