Mahindra & Mahindra, the largest utility vehicle manufacturer in the Indian market, is expected to come-up with a new version of its largest selling SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) – Mahindra Bolero – in next few months. The Bolero is currently one of the most preferred utility vehicles in the rural market. Recently, spy pics of the Bolero face-lift model were posted on AutocarIndia’s portal.
The new Bolero will be carrying a number of cosmetic changes at the exterior. Moreover, the vehicle will come powered by a new CRDi engine that is expected to be delivering a peak power of 75 bhp. However, it is still not confirmed if the company will continue with the high powered 97 bhp 2.5L diesel engine or will replace it with the above mentioned lower powered engine.
Moreover, the pics of upcoming World SUV W201 and mini Mahindra Xylo have already been doing rounds on the net since last few months. Both of the vehicles are expected to be launched in the Indian market by the end of this year. With launch of these new generation variants, the company will not only be able to strengthen its position in the country but will also enable its products to compete more promptly in the Indian market.
