Audi India will soon be launching the new generation version of its flagship SUV, the Q7. Dropping all the unnecessary aggression, the new Q7 will be more sophisticated with a demeanour of a relaxed lion. The design language endowed on this SUV will also be shared by other portfolio models. The higher positioned stance will be substituted by edges and smooth surfaces giving it a complex yet elegant look. To the side, the streamlined shoulder lines with the wedge type surface make it look longer and well placed. Audi has also made sure the rear looks in unison with the front and side. It is enriched by LED tail lights and boxy exhaust openings.

Inside the new Audi Q7, the newly introduced virtual cockpit with navigation and an updated MIB II infotainment system will make the cabin feel as rich as the outside. The front layout of the dashboard will allow greater air circulation. The central console has got wider to make space for a larger touchscreen unit. In terms of features, the new Q7 will offer Traffic Jam assist, Collision Avoidance assist, lane shift assist and many more options.

Under the hood, the new Q7 will make use of a 3.0-litre TDI motor for that torquey power delivery. This engine will be mated to an 8-speed tiptronic automatic gearbox. Max speed will be electrically limited to 234 kmph. The diesel motor will be then accompanied by a 2.0-litre TFSI motor again mated to an 8-speed transmission. The Q7 too will come with drive select options to configure throttle response, shift pattern and suspension setup.
