The festive season has already begun. The Ganapati festival is almost over but after 14 days from now it will be a new beginning when the car makers in India will have time to rejoice. Auto sales in India have already picked up leaving a hope with the auto manufacturers that there are better days ahead.
Nearly everyone is geared up to boost sales in this season. New Hyundai Santro, Toyota Fortuner and Maruti Estilo have already been launched. A brand new Maruti Swift with new K-series engine is destined for a launch in next couple of weeks. Customers can expect less duty on the car making the model cheaper. A new Ford Endeavour is already slated for a launch in September giving a tough fight to recently launched Toyota Fortuner.
Honda is also ready to launch a new Civic but the much awaited model is from General Motors’ Chevrolet Cruz which will be a medium range sedan. The Beat is yet another model which is anxiously awaited by the customers but will be launched post-festive season. Tata Motors is planning to launch a new Indigo Vista sedan powered by Fiat Linea engine.
The luxury car buyers will be gifted with a brand new W212 Mercedes Benz E-class, BMW Z4 convertible and Volkswagen Beetle. Other premium compact cars and SUVs slated for the launch this year are Skoda Yeti, new VW Polo and Skoda Fabia Combi. Hence, we can say that exciting times are coming for sure!
