      Mercedes-Benz India to launch the new G63 AMG in February 2013

      The Indian arm of Mercedes-Benz, a globally renowned German luxury automotive maker, will be introducing the new G63 AMG Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in the domestic market, somewhere by the end of February 2013. Pegged as a replacement for the existing G55 AMG, the new model is going to be the first car launch by Mercedes-Benz in India this year.

      After the introduction of new G-Class AMG model, Mercedes-Benz will begin pulling up its socks for the launch of much awaited A-Class hatchback, diesel trim of a the B-Class Sports Tourer and the new GL-Class on Indian turf. The German auto major has also revealed intentions to launch the new 2013 CLA sedan in the country. The Mercedes-Benz G-Class models are famous all over the world, for being one of the toughest and meanest utility vehicles ever made. The G-Class line up comes across as the most premium 'Three Pointed Star' SUVs, which exude both royalty and a powerful off-roading attitude. The yet-to-be launched Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is the latest family member of the G-Class fleet and is pegged as one of the most powerful models in its class.

      Speaking of under-the-hood specifications of the soon-to-be launched Mercedes-Benz G-Class G63 AMG, the regal SUV is expected to come fitted with a an enormous 5.5 litre V8 Turbocharged engine. The powerful AMG sourced powertrain will be able to produce a peak power output close to 536 bhp, along with a maximum torque delivery of 760 Nm, without breaking into sweat. The stunning G63 AMG SUV also boasts off an astounding acceleration of 0 to 100 kmph spanned in just a nimble 5.4 seconds. Therefore, Indian car enthusiasts will be keeping their fingers crossed in anticipation of the first Mercedes-Benz model launch for 2013.
