The three-row vehicle designed on the Swift’s platform is being well received by Indian buyers to report record breaking bookings of 45000 units in just two months of its launch. In the Indian auto market, the car was introduced sometime in the initial days of April 2012 and within a short span it has emerged as a bestseller in the company’s portfolio. Since the debutant LUV is based on Swift’s manufacturing platform, it is replicating the same story of success rejoiced by the former. With its industry leading features and advancements, fleet operators as well as families are approaching the company outlets to experience the uniqueness of the ‘Ritz and Swift’ derived car. One of the main factors behind the popularity of Ertiga is its economical pricing, which is unmatched in its segment.

Before buying a car, several Indian buyers evaluate the vehicle in terms of pricing and fortunately Ertiga leaves no room for dislikes and has made a fairly impressive place for itself. Analysts who were initially quoting that the new offering from Maruti’s platform will only manage to pull volumes of 3500-4000 units per month have been proved wrong, as the car has almost eaten up a decent share in its segment. However, fleet operators are playing big on its diesel model as it has decent mileage and less maintenance, compared to that of other established cars of the same segment. Owing to this, the ZDi variant of Ertiga is rejoicing a waiting phase till March 2013.

Along with India, the car also performed well in the international auto market as Suzuki retailers in Indonesia have come up with complaints that they are not provided with demanded units of Ertiga. With an overwhelming response gained by the company’s debutant UV throughout the world, it would not be a surprise if the car maker launches some of the industry leading models in the next couple of years.
