Maruti Suzuki’s entry-level small car Alto has been a top seller in its segment for quite a white now. The country’s largest automaker’s association with the upcoming movie based on the Indian cricketer MS Dhoni has gone a step ahead with the company now introducing the MS Dhoni inspired limited edition Alto. The limited edition Alto does not get any mechanical upgrades and changes are limited to cosmetic upgrades.
The Alto hatchback has been the only car to cumulatively sell about 30 lakh units in the country, while MS Dhoni is a living legend who is known for his dynamic leadership in the cricketing world. The special edition has been offered in the Alto 800 Lxi variant and the Alto K10 in Lxi and Vxi variants. It continues to be powered by 796cc engine which generates about 47bhp of power and 998cc K10B engine which generates 67bhp of power. As for interior, the limited edition models have been offered in two combinations Black with Silver and Red with Blue.
The special edition Alto gets fresh upgrades like MS Dhoni decal, number ‘7’ inscribed sporty seat covers, reverse parking sensor and a high end music system. The limited edition variants will reach dealerships sometime by October, 2016. Interested customers will have to shell out an additional Rs 16,777 for Alto 800 Lxi, while the special editions of Alto K10 Lxi and Alto K10 Vxi cost an additional Rs 12,777 over their current prices.
