Sources suggest that Lamborghini could look at building a four door saloon after the market warms up to the Urus.

Lamborghini could attempt a four-door saloon after the Urus success

While the idea behind this thought process at Lamborghini is definitely not new, we can confirm this by looking back at the Lamborghini Estoque four-door concept which the brand showcased in 2008. This concept had an unmistakable Lamborghini nose with the characteristic diamond shaped intakes, and measured 5.15m in length. The Estoque concept eventually didn’t get approved as the Urus made more sense, especially when viewed from a business standpoint.

Lamborghini’s boss, Stefano Domenicali added that if the Urus is successful in the market, it could then pave the way for a four-door saloon to wear the prestigious Lamoborghini badge. He told reporters, “We need to be open to make the right decision. It’s a rolling process that we need to take, and to be ready with the right decision at the right moment.”

With Lamborghini’s distinctive design language adorning a four-door saloon with a V10 or V12 motor, all of us can expect nothing short of an excellent package. Stay tuned to CarTrade for more information on this in the coming months.
