      Mahindra Xylo conferred with the coveted 'Master Brand' title by CMO Asia and Master Brand Congress

      Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (M&M), the country's favourite utility vehicle maker, is in seventh heaven as its Xylo Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) has been conferred with the highly coveted 'Master Brand' award for 2012-13 period. The 'Master Brand' title is one of most distinguished and prestigious titles in the global automobile industry and is awarded by CMO Asia and the World Brand Congress. Further, 2012-13 period marks the third instalment of Master Brand Awards.

      Mahindra Xylo is among the company's most popular products in Indian passenger car market. The title of Master Brand is bestowed to a vehicle after considering its performance on several key criterions, such as goodwill, longevity, customer loyalty, market domination and popularity among consumers. Reportedly, some 8000 different vehicles competed against each other, out of which only 20 brands were presented with the Master Brand title. The vehicles are sorted according to their overall appeal among an extremely vast set of customers, ranging from premium to mass buyers. Further, CMO Asia and the World Brand Congress also takes into account the brand's ability to keep it up to date with the ever changing needs and requirements of its serviced clientele. Therefore, Mahindra Xylo wrapped up a pretty mean feat and its popularity is expected to surge ahead significantly.
