      Mahindra's Scorpio needs no introduction for itself. The Scorpio SUV from Mahindra has been a key player in its segment. The face-lifted version of Mahindra Scorpio has been one of the most awaited one for this year. As per new updates, Mahindra has started accepting the bookings for new Scorpio at a token amount of Rs. 20,000 and the vehicle is expected to hit sales sometime by the end of this month or early next month.

      The new Mahindra Scorpio is expected to be launched five variants for the Indian market namely S2, S4, S6, S8 and S10. The upcoming variant is expected to be offered in interesting shades of Diamond White, Fiery Black, Mist Silver. Apart from these Mahindra has also added Molten Red and Regal Blue as new shades for the Scorpio line. The new Mahindra Scorpio shall be powered by the existing line of 2.2-litre mHawk engine that generates about 120 PS of power with 290 Nm of torque output. No major technical changes have been made except for improved fuel efficiency figures and five speed gearbox.

      The exact pricing for the new upcoming Mahindra Scorpio is not known, but it is expected to be offered at a marginally higher price tag. The new Mahindra Scorpio gets new grille and wind splitters. The headlamps have been redone to carry a bolder appeal. The bonnet carries a masculine structure along with redesigned front and rear bumpers. The SUV gets features like climate control, touchscreen infotainment system and newly designed instrument console. Moreover, control panels have also been mounted on the steering wheel.
