Fiat is planning to launch a tough contender named Avventura, for Toyota's recently launched Etios Cross. Avventura shall be the first crossover from Fiat for the Indian market. Fiat promotes the upcoming Avventura crossover as, “Thrive on Discovery and Thrill.” The pricing aspect for the Fiat's Avventura is unknown for now, but it is anticipated that the company may launch the vehicle in between the Rs. 6 – 8 Lakhs segment. Sometime later, Fiat may also launch the Abarth 500 which has been long awaited in the Indian market.
The upcoming Fiat Avventura is expected to be launched in the Indian market next month. The crossover may also be offered with an automatic transmission variant along with the regular manual transmission variant. Fiat Avventura shall be powered by 1.4 Litre FIRE Petrol engine. Whereas the diesel version may be powered by 1.3-litre multi-jet engine that generates power of about 90 bhp of power with 200 Nm of peak torque. The overall style quotient is expected to be spiced up with the “multi-purpose” roof rails on the top of the vehicle. Apart from style, the crossover shall also be loaded with ample legroom and headroom for its occupants.
The Avventura crossover from Fiat shall be loaded with interesting set special features like plastic body claddings, front projector head lamps, spare wheel on the exterior, and skid guards. Since it is believed that the Avventura crossover is based on Punto hatchback platform, the crossover shall feature an increased ground clearance as compared to its hatchback counterpart. The alloys have received interesting shades of Grey-silver colour. Apart from a spacious cabin space the upholestry may also receive contrast stitching and roll-and-tilt gauges.
