According to a report, Mahindra Two-Wheelers will launch the much-awaited Mojo sports tourer in the Indian market on October 16, 2015. Dealers have already started taking booking orders for the bike at Rs. 10,000. The company is also offering additional surprise benefits to first 100 customers of the Mojo. Expected to be priced around Rs. 1.5 lakh - Rs. 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom), the Mojo will rival the Honda CRB 250R, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and KTM Duke 390. Unveiled at the 2010 Auto Expo, this sports tourer will be manufactured at the Mahindra’s Pithampur-based plant. Just so you know, the bike has been on test for quite a long time.

Talking about the engine, the Mojo will be powered by a 300cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that will deliver a maximum power of 26.6bhp and 30Nm of torque. This engine will be mated to a six-speed transmission. The latest spyshots reveal that the bike features twin headlamps with LED daytime running lights, black finished undercowl engine, premium 3D Mahindra and Mojo brand badges on the tank, black handlebar, large pillion grab rails, dual-tone seat, a small LED taillight and sporty dual exhaust. It will also be equipped with golden inverted telescopic fork suspension with matching swing arm.

The sport tourer is assembled with the Y-spoke black alloy wheels wrapped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres. The Mojo is 2,100mm long, 830mm wide and 1,270mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 1,450mm. The ground clearance of 150mm will certainly help the bike tackle rough Indian roads. The braking system of the Mojo comprises front pedal disc brake and rear disc brake.
