Another raging bull makes it to the Indian shores and this time it is the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder. Launched at a price tag of Rs 3.89 crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the two-door sports car is the drop-top version of the Huracan Coupe.
The Huracan Spyder looks exactly like the coupe – low slung, hunkered down and menacingly fast. The LP 610-4 gets a hydraulically operated soft-top that can be lowered in 17 seconds with the car doing a maximum speed of up to 50kmph. To improve aerodynamics with the top down, two fins rise from behind the seats to regulate airflow in the cabin and improve airflow to the engine compartment. The cabin is nice and luxurious and upholstered in leather with creature comforts befitting a Lamborghini.
The Huracan gets mid-mounted naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine that churns 602bhp of power at 8250rpm and 560Nm of torque. Mated to a seven-.speed dual clutch transmission, power is sent to all four wheels. While the Huracan coupe gets to 100kmph from rest in 3.2 seconds, the convertible takes 0.2 seconds more.
Lamborghini also threw open the door to their new dealership facility in Mumbai. Located in Prabhadevi, the new facility will cater to all sales and service requirements of Lamborghini customers.
