Lamborghini has launched its latest offering, Huracan supercar in India today. For the Indian market, Huracan LP 610-4 has been priced at Rs 3.43 crore. Styling cues have been borrowed from Aventador, other than this the new supercar from Lamborghini features angular projector head lamps, large air intakes have been equipped on the bumper, multiple creases are also present on the vehicle to foster aerodynamics. Power is generated through the same athletic V10 engine inherited from Gallordo, however the company has tweaked it a tad to engender top power output of 610 Bhp along with peak torque of 560 Nm.

The robust engine is matched to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission that will channelize power to all four wheels. On the performance front, the supercar scores well as it rushes from zilch to 100 kmph within 3.2 seconds and hits the 200 kmph mark in just 9.9 seconds. The supercar is vouched to hit the top speed mark of 325 kmph. Lamborghini has also fitted a start/stop function for improved CO2 emissions, the V10 powered Huracan is claimed to emit 290 g/km. Inside the cabin, traces of resemblance can be seen with that of Aventador, though the layout looks more framed courtesy wide instrument cluster.

Steering features a host of large sized toggle switches on either side, the paddles fitted behind steering wheel are humongous. Priced at Rs 3.43 crore, the supercar is unlikely to have a potential competitor in its segment in domestic market. Prior to Huracan, Lamborghini’s Gallardo had an impressive stint in India and other global markets the Italian auto maker is hopeful that the new Huracan supercar will surpass popularity of its predecessor.
