Honda’s upcoming CR-V facelift has been caught on lens yet again while undergoing test runs. The new version of the crossover is expected to see light of the day sometime next year. Honda will first release the vehicle in global markets followed by Indian market in 2016. An official image of the 2015 CR-V has gone viral on the inter-web which shows that Honda has tweaked the front profile copiously. Among the most noticeable changes done in the front is a new grille complemented by projector beam head lamps infused with LED elements. Minimal changes have been made to the side profile, it now comes incorporated with new mirrors featuring turn indicators, newly designed dual tone alloy wheels come fitted to the flared arch wheels.

Rear also gets a tweaked bumper along with redesigned tail lights and trunk door. There is yet not much revealed about the revisions made inside the cabin, however it is expected that Honda will bestow subtle changes including addition of few features.

Engine specifications are expected to be retained; the petrol range is likely to be powered with the same 2.0 litre, i-VTEC gasoline engine that is good for 148 BHP of top power along with peak torque of 192Nm. Diesel variants could be offered in two engine options including a 1.6 litre i-DTEC mill that engenders maximum power output of 118 BHP and peak torque of 330Nm, the other engine could be a 2.2 litre i-DTEC powertrain outputting 148 BHP of towering power along with 349Nm of pinnacle torque. If we go by rumours, HCIL could add diesel variants to the CR-V range that currently comes in petrol engine option only.
