The Japanese manufacturer has decided to provide more colour options with its Ninja 650 and ER-6N. The new colours are the only changes to the current motorcycles as their engine or design has not been upgraded. Lately, Honda has launched its CBR650F and since Benelli has arrived in India, Kawasaki is getting more competition; still it has not introduced any major change in its bikes which indicates that the manufacturer may launch whole new models next year.

The new colour scheme involves contrasting colours for the shock absorber spring and fuel tank for both the bikes. Now, you get a bit of black all over the bike with lime green shock absorber spring and dark green fairing on the 650. The wheels of both the bikes now can be purchased with white stripes.

For ER-6n, you get candy lime green with metallic spark black, metallic carbon grey, metallic spark black and urban city white. These colours make the bike look even more attractive in its current avatar and it definitely looks sexier than its faired sibling. Ninja 650 on the other hand will get the signature candy lime green with a metallic spark scheme on the fairing. Candy permission red also gets metallic spark fairing in black and metallic carbon grey remains an option with single colour scheme with no contrasting for the fairing.

Ninja 650 has a 649 cc engine which produces 71 bhp and 64 Nm from its twin cylinders. The bike currently retails for an ex-showroom price of Rs. 5.33 lakhs. ER-6n is comparatively cheaper at Rs. 4.92 lakhs and comes with the same 649 cc engine which has the same power output.

The new colours are currently not on sale in India and have been announced for the international market only. But, we are pretty sure that Kawasaki will bring them to India very soon.
