Do you want to make an expensive limited edition bike which creates a buzz around the world? Simple, take a stock bike which already has brutal power in store, strip off its bodywork, add some gizmos, tweak the engine to get even more power and remember, produce limited numbers. Yes, it sounds very simple but if you get into details, it is a bit tricky and risky.

What T3 Racing will be doing here is first purchasing the stock bikes and then going for the tweaks. This process is expensive. Plus the power gets boosted by a full 27 bhp on the stock Triumph and since the bodywork is minimised, there is a significant decline in weight too. Speed Triple 1050 currently trades around £ 10,000 in UK which means that T3 racing first will have to spend this much at least.

Known as the Gemini Project, the limited edition vehicle comes with megaphone exhaust with an option of straight out units too. Magnesium wheels are also an option but you get the spoke ones if you want. Keyless ignition and a pleasant looking touch screen have also been added to the stock bike which will appeal to its niche buyers. The bike has been built by a bunch of racers and one of the designers of “Spirit of Seventies” has also been involved in the project.

There are no updates on the exact performance numbers but you can make some calculations yourself. The original Speed Triple weighs 212 kg and can do speeds in excess of 270 km/h at least. 0-100 km/h takes less than 3 seconds and 200 km/h would definitely come up under 9 seconds. Now the Gemini has reduced weight and a power advantage of 27 bhp with significant amount of torque, you can imagine the absolutely mental performance.

The British tuner will start accepting bookings from 31st August and here is the catch. Since the bike enjoys a limited run of 100 units, it will be limited to only 6 bikes per country. This means, if you get one, it is a rare chance that you will encounter another one in your country.
