      Jaguar Land Rover Evoque Convertible Concept to be showcased at Geneva Motor Show in March

      Jaguar & Land Rover (JLR), the British subsidiaries of the Indian auto giant Tata Motors, is all set to uncover its much talked about Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept at the forthcoming Geneva Motors Show in March 2012. The Range Rover Evoque is the latest luxury sports utility vehicle in the portfolio of JLR, which company had showcased at the Frankfurt Motors Show last year. The Evoque SUV has already been introduced in the Indian market in November 2011.

      In a statement issued recently, the company said that it will unveil a convertible concept of its popular Range Rover Evoque model at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. And it will be exploring the possibilities of the world's first premium convertible SUV.

      Speaking on the matter, Mr. John Edwards, Director of Land Rover Global Brand, said, "The Evoque convertible concept explores the potential to further extend the nameplate's appeal by giving existing customers more choice, whilst at the same time reaching out to a completely new customer base."

      While elaborating the significance of this showcase, the company said in its press release that the Evoque convertible concept will be showcased only to analyze the public’s reaction, through which the firm will be assessing the potential for the commercial launch of this vehicle.
