      Jaguar Heritage Racing leads to successful debut season, emerges as victor at beginning Goodwood Revival night race

      The Jaguar Heritage Racing team has ended up with a victory in the night race of Freddie March Memorial Trophy. This event started the world known Goodwood Revival Racing weekend, which carries a great significance for the auto aficionados all across the globe.

      Win by Jaguar's racing team gave an emphatic end to the enticing first season. Jaguar Heritage Racing team was provided with top step of winning stand at Nürburgring Old Timer and the Grand Prix De Monaco Historique.

      The Freddie March Memorial Trophy, held at Goodwood Revival, featured an enthralling 90 minute two-driver race, which was the first night race ever in the history of racing festivals. Reportedly, it was particularly carried to enjoy the 60th commemoration of the pioneer Goodwood Nine Hours racing event.

      Carrying on the spectacular heritage of Jaguar racing, comprising ex-Fangio C-Type car belonging to legendary racer John Young, Alex Buncombe swiftly took the lead at the exquisite Goodwood Racing circuit. He recorded the fastest lap on his way to remarkable win, competing against the aggressive Aston Martin, Ferrari and Maserati racers.

      Addressing the audience after victory, Buncombe, quoted, “Winning the first Goodwood Revival night race is a fantastic achievement for us. In a season where I am also competing in the FIA GT3 Blancpain Endurance Series, it has been a privilege to be part of a winning team that has seen Jaguar beat its premium brand rivals on the most famous race tracks in the world.”

      The Global Brand Director of Jaguar Cars, Adrian Hallmark, commented, “Winning the Freddie March Memorial Trophy crowned a successful first season for Jaguar Heritage Racing. It has been an evocative sight to see factory supported C- and D-Types back on the racetrack. These cars embody the seductive performance that is at the heart of the Jaguar brand. They form our design and technology bloodline, which runs through every new Jaguar car and will be clear in the DNA of the new F-TYPE, which will be unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.”

      The well known Jaguar Heritage Racing was introduced at the Royal Automobile Club, London, in March this year. 2012 Jaguar Heritage Racing programme went on air all across the world with the help of its global media partner, CNN. Moreover, CNN is also planning to release a documentary of Jaguar Heritage Racing’s exploits featured at the Goodwood Revival on October 1, 2012.
