The division of the Japanese automobile maker Nissan, Infiniti motors was officially came in 1989 and now has more than 200 dealers in over 15 countries. The headquarters of the Infiniti is In Yokohama and in Hong Kong as Infiniti Global Limited.
Now, the new entry- level luxury crossover 2016 Infiniti QX30 will be showcased in concept next month at the Geneva Auto show 2015 and will be in showrooms next year. A teaser and conceptual image of the QX30 rears was released by the company on 5th February. The new car has sharp curves and angles and is designed to give QX30 a unique identity of its own.
The new QX30 is the result of the partnership between the company and Daimler AG, a German Automobile company which is situated in Germany. The company will build QX30 on the Mercedes-Benz modular front architecture platform. The same platform is used for the Benz’s A- class and GLA- class models. It is not confirmed yet, if the QX30 will use their diesel and gasoline engines.
The QX30 is the cousin of the 2016 Infiniti Q30 hatchback, which is said to go in production in mid-2015. Both the brothers will be manufactures and assemble in England, and will be imported from US to China.
Also both, QX30 and Q30 are said to modify Infiniti’s global reach in north Europe, and are also expected to increase sale in the US and the average age of an Infiniti buyer in the country.
The new QX30 will compete with BMW X1 and Audi Q3. Also, the new car is already found testing. The Q30 is said to arrive in autumn, and will be manufactured in the Sunderland facility, England. Both the models Q and QX are said to use Mercedes’s turbocharged four-cylinder diesel and petrol engines. The car is also said to use front wheel drive technology. However, four wheel drive system will also be available as an option.
The company has said the new model take the premium segment to a new higher level and will offer all new looks for a coupe and also a new commanding seat position.
