The American brand, Indian motorcycles, has stated recently that the latest edition of its chief family bike, the Chief Dark Horse, will be announced in US on February 13th, 2015. The bike’s siblings were manufactured by the company between 2010 and 2013. A photo of the new cruiser was revealed by the company last month in the US.
The Chief Dark Horse will be revealed at the end of the rally, the Dark Horse Ride Challenge, which makes its debut to America on 13th February 2015 at Chicago’s International Motorcycle Show. The photo released by the company contains the mudguard of the new motorcycle with company’s symbol in it. Also after one day, international audience will also have their chance to see the Chief Dark Horse at the MCN London Motorcycle Show.
The MCN show will showcase all entire range of the Indian Motorcycles with the new 2015 models, including the all-new Roadmaster, Scout, and 2015 chief family. There are some indications that new 2015 Chief Dark Horse will have the same pattern as its sibling. The bike is said to have aluminum frame design though the wheelbase and front rake will depend upon the model. The integrated transmission will also be gear driven.
As per some reports, the chief dark horse is said to contain the same thunder stroke 1811-cc engine that was also used in the bid brothers of the cruiser. The air-cooled 49- degree V-twin engine produced torque of 139 Nm and can have six-speed manual transmissions.
The company said in a press release that the Indian motorcycle, America’s first motorcycle company, will revealed its all new motorcycle and the first motorcycle of 2016 model, the Indian Chief Dark Horse. The new member of the family will be showcased in a consumer reveal spanning two continents.
Also, they added the much waited chief dark horse will be showcased to the US audience at Chicago, which will be on Friday, 13th February at 1pm and will be there till Sunday at 5pm. The new bike will be formally revealed at 05.30 pm local time.
