Hyundai Sonata has been relaunched in overseas markets as Hyundai i45. A total of 975 Hyundai i45 owners were asked to rate their customer satisfaction for over 48 separate categories ranging from the basics of comfort and convenience, to performance and environmental friendliness for various mid-sized sedan models. Hyundai i45 emerged as a leader and was awarded the the first-ever President’s Award from the North American automotive consulting firm AutoPacific.
Hyundai i40 or i45 as known in the Korean and Australian market also won the Australian international Design award in the Automotive and Transport category which is awarded to the most innovative and best design amongst all the international sedan models.
“Fluidic Design is a Hyundai signature, a design language which will appear on future Hyundai volume models. It gives our range a unique and premium identity and defines Hyundai as a modern, progressive company. With i45, we wanted to deliver a strikingly modern shape, yet accommodate the wide variety of practical needs which sedan buyers require met,” said Andre Hudson, Design Manager, Hyundai Design North America.
