      Hyundai has been a strong brand in the Indian market. The sales numbers for July proves just that – 36,500 units sold in July, thereby showing 24.7% hike in total sales. Speaking more on the occasion, Rakesh Srivastava, Senior VP, sales and marketing, HMIL said, "Hyundai's new age product portfolio led by the newly launched Global SUV CRETA sustained the growth momentum with 24.7 per cent growth with a volume of 36,500 units. The tremendous response for the Global SUV CRETA, i20 Active & Elite i20 showcases the customers increasing preference and early adoption for game changer products offering novelty value in style, first in segment features and strong after sale assurances."

      In terms of exports, Hyundai reportedly exported about 13,908 cars last month which is indeed 25.8% lower as compared to the previous year in the same period. The cumulative sales for last month stood at 50,408 units for June 2015 as compared to 48,014 cars sold in the corresponding period in 2014. With the new Creta launch, the company expects to further achieve better sales numbers in the coming months.
