      Hyundai India to provide better customer experience through '5 Star Assurance Program' for Santro and Next Gen i10

      On 8th May 2012, the '5 Star Assurance Program' was commenced by Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), India's largest car exporter and second largest manufacturer. This limited period offer has been started by the South Korean company in order to provide a better experience of owning Santro and Next Gen i10 to customers.

      Hyundai India's Director of Sales and Marketing, Arvind Saxena, commented on the ‘5 Star Assurance Programme’, “Our new 5-Star Assurance Program is designed to offer 360-degree services to our customers ranging from maintenance to roadside assistance. The primary objective being to enhance customer satisfaction long after the purchase has been made.”

      Roadside Assurance, Exchange Assurance, Warranty Assurance, Motor Assurance and Total Maintenance Assurance constitute the '5 Star Assurance Program'. The company provides maintenance for free up to 3 years or 40,000 km, whichever ends first. Abiding by standard timely maintenance service schedule and running repairs, the program covers all service and repairs, including parts and materials under this scheme.

      An extensive motor insurance is provided by it under the 'Motor Assurance Program' at just Re. 1, whereas the 'Warranty Assurance Program' further extends the warranty for the vehicle for third year or up to 40,000 km. Apart from all these, the package also includes 2 years of 24x7 'Roadside Assistance'. Customers are also offered Exchange/Loyalty offer of Rs. 15,000 under this program.

Since the past seven years, the company has maintained its position as the largest exporter of passenger vehicles in India.

      The company started a new plant in February 2008 in order to meet the growing demand for its cars. This new unit has the potential to produce 3,30,000 models on an annual basis. HMIL's network comprises 345 dealers and 795 service centres across the country, which have proven to be instrumental in its growth and expansion plans. The company set up a Research and Development (R&D) facility in Hyderabad, which was built on a multimillion dollar budget in order to keep up with the latest technology in world and provide the same to its customers. Hyundai is making all necessary efforts to make this facility the best in the automobile industry.
