Hyundai Grand i10 X crossover compact vehicle was launched recently in Indonesia. The price of this car has been fixed at 155.5 million Rupiah, which when converted comes to Rs 7.5 lakhs. The X is a muscular version of the Grand i10 with a couple of exterior embellishments, which has been the philosophy of the i20 Active.
The first noticeable thing is the increase in the ground clearance of the vehicle by 0.5 inches. The motive of this car is to combine the essence of an SUV and a hatchback. Hyundai i10 X efficiently does so, with rear and front skid plates, lower cladding on the body, fog lamps, optional roof rack and a sporty muffler.
The Grand i10 X has been given 14-inch alloy wheels. The car is available with a choice of four exterior colours – Pure White, Passion Red, Sleek Silver and Golden Orange. The insides have been given a wrapped steering wheel, a four-speaker system, MP3, USB compatibility and 2 DIN music system with CD. Mechanistically, the car has been provided with a 1.25-litre Kappa D-CVVT petrol, which churns out 82 hp power at 6000 rpm and a torque output of 119 Nm.
