It was reported that Honda was working on a 160 cc motorcycle, which will be get the stature of a premium bike. The time of launch was stated to be September. Incidentally, this would have been the best time for Honda, as well as the festive season was about to commence and ideally this is the best time to launch two-wheelers and automobiles in India. However, there is a disappointment for bike lovers. The official launch of this model has been pushed back to November first week. Now, the bikers will have to wait for an additional two months to get their hands on the new offering of Honda.

However, there have been some reports about the design and concept of this bike. It was earlier believed that this 160 cc model would draw inspiration from the CX-01 concept motorcycle, which was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo held in New Delhi in 2014. Contrary to that opinion, it would not have any design implications of the CX-01 model. The new 160 cc bike will replace the existing CB Trigger model, which could not come up to the expectations of the masses. The paradox of the matter was the CB trigger was itself launched to replace the Unicorn Dazzler, which could not make a mark in this segment. It seems that this 150 cc segment has become a roadblock for this esteemed Japanese manufacturer.

After the launch of these bikes, it will be placed above CB Unicorn and below the full-faired version of CBR150R. There is no determined information about the platform of this bike, whether it will have a fresh base or some old variant. The technical specifications have not yet been officially released. However, it is expected that this model will give a stiff competition in the segment.
