Overwhelmed by the response received by customers for Mobilio MPV, the company has launched two new variants of the MPV in India today dubbed, V (O) and RS (O). With the induction of new trim levels, Mobilio range now offers a total of 10 variants including both petrol and diesel trim levels. Placed above E,S and V trims, the V (O) variant is available in both petrol and diesel guise priced at Rs 9.46 lakh and Rs 10.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. On the other hand the RS trim level has been rolled out in diesel version only with an additional RS (O) trim tagged at Rs. 11.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). V (O) variant is available for sale Honda’s outlets scattered across the country while deliveries of RS and RS (O) variants will begin from mid-September.
Segment first features like audio video navigation and rear view parking camera have been equipped on both the variants. MPV’s audio video Navigation system comes fitted with a 15.7 cm touch-screen with features like maps, satellite-based voice guided navigation, and an in-car entertainment along with connectivity features - DVD/CD, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, i-POD, MP3, FM/AM.
Bluetooth communication function enables users to sync their phones to use functions such as dialing, answering, history, address book and music play via the screen.
The new variants get woody panels inside the cabin on the dashboard and door armrests varying it from the other trims. Officials at HCIL claim that the new variants equipped with a hand full of new features will also garner good response from the customers.
