Ford's upcoming Figo series has been one of the most anticipated vehicle that has been due to be launched in the country. Recently, sources have spotted a over 4-meter sedan and a hatchback undergoing road test in the country. The full size Figo and sub4 meter sedan trim was spotted undergoing road test along with the Figo hatchback trim in the country.
Sources have stated that both the hatchback and sedan trim is likely to receive 1.2 liter petrol engine, whereas the diesel trim is likely to receive 1.5 liter TDCi engine that is capable of generating about 89 bhp of power with a peak torque output of about 204 Nm. In the Brazilian market, the vehicle is powered by a 1.0 Liter three-cylinder petrol engine that can churn out a power output of about 85 BHP with a peak torque output of about 10.7 kgm. The vehicle comes mated with a five speed gear box.
The over-4 meter sedan trim is unlikely to be launched in the Indian market, but the under 4-meter sedan trim along with the hatchback is likely to be launched sometime in May this year. More details about the vehicle shall be known at a later date.
