Ford's EcoSport compact SUV has been a top seller in its segment owing to its stunning looks and impressive features. As per fresh updates from sources, the company has been planning on launching the facelifted trim sometime in 2016. The fresh upgrades shall further help the brand with growing numbers on the sales charts.
As per sources, the new Ecosport trim is likely to be adorned with a new front grill that compliments the new stylish headlamps. The upcoming trim is likely be launched with existing engine options in petrol and diesel variants. The petrol version would continue being made available in 1.0 Liter and 1.5 Liter engine options that can generate about 110 BHP and 123 BHP of maximum power respectively. Whereas, the diesel variant would be offered with a 1.5 liter engine that would be capable of delivering about 90 BHP.
The new trim would likely give the extra spare wheel a miss at the rear. The company has not spoken in detail about technical and pricing aspect yet. More details shall be known some time before launch.
