The much popular Italian car maker Ferrari has uncovered its most fuel efficient engine concept at ongoing Beijing Motor Show. The highly sophisticated Ferrari Hybrid V12 engine comes in combination with an electric motor. The new engine system is a new age version of the earlier HY-KERS motor which was introduced in the market in year 2010. The new engine carries a mid-rear engine layout as compared to the front-engine layout of the earlier engines.

As per the industry sources, the new engine will mark its debut with the firm’s proposed Enzo replacement which is scheduled to be launched in the market next year. The major designing cues of the new Ferrari Hybrid V12 engine have been borrowed from the earlier HY-KERS version of the engine, which not only offers a better torque management and traction control, but also a sublime brake distribution. The new engine system is claimed to be bringing down the emission level about 40 percent low as compared to the conventional V12 engines.

Moreover, the new Ferrari V12 engine comes incorporated with Regenerative braking system, which helps the electric motor to recharge the battery. The electric motor of the car also powers the systems like air conditioning and power steering.
