Ferrari is on the verge of releasing a completely exclusive version of the Berlinetta, which will be christened as the F12 GTO. It is reportedly borrowing designing hints from the legendary 250 GTO as will be churning out 800 PS power.
However, the new model has been spied recently and some images have surfaced online from a private configurator. It is expected that the car will make a debut in the forthcoming months and in all probability be seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
According to the reports, the F12 GTO will derive its extra power from the same HY-KERS system, which was seen on the 599 GTB HY-KERS Hybrid concept model. This will also be the first model to bring the hybrid specs in cars lower than the LaFerrari. However, this new model will be as exclusive as the LaFerrari, as this model will be the company’s special model to commemorate the 60th anniversary.
