      Yamaha Motor India posts 26 per cent growth in sales in June 2015

      The sales of Yamaha Motor India have shown a rise of 26 per cent in June 2015 as compared to the same phase during the last year. This fact is majorly contributed by the innovative efforts of the company and the customer-oriented functions of the manufacturer. Other reasons, which contributed to this growth, are an exciting product portfolio, which includes the Fascino – the new scooter and Saluto – a 125 cc commuter bike.

      The two-wheeler manufacturing company sold 51432 units in the month of June 2015 in the domestic market alone as against the number being only 40666 units in the same period last year. When it came to the exports market, the company sold 14708 units in June 2015 against 12819 units in 2014 showing a growth of 15 per cent. The overall sales stood at approximately 66140 units in June 2015 against the 53485 units in 2014, registering a growth of 24 per cent.

      Roy Kurian, Vice President of the Sales and Marketing team of Yamaha Motors India Sales said that the increasing numbers are a signal to the robust business plan as well as the strategic customer engagement programs of the company of Yamaha. The growth has been spearheaded by the smart product line-up and fresh launches, including the Saluto and Fascino.
