Volkswagen India is really making the most of its new dealership launches in India. The company has announced the sales of 4039 units in June 2015 alone against the 3079 units in 2014, which is an increase of 31 per cent. The sales increase is completely attributed to the fresh launches in the market – Vento and Jetta sedans. On the other hand, the Polo is also a major reason for its success, as the car has been provided with a 4-star NCAP safety rating for adults. The premium hatchback segment is being led by the Polo GT TSI – a model with turbocharged petrol engine and seven-speed DSG transmission.

Michael Mayer, Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars for Volkswagen Group Sales India said, “We have witnessed our fifth consecutive increase in monthly sales and attribute this achievement to our recently launched new Vento, growing trust in the brand amongst consumers and an excellent dealer network.
