This festive season, Chevrolet will put on offer facelift versions of its Sail twins, Sail sedan and Sail U-VA. Both the tweaked variants are slated to go on sales on September 24 a day before festive season commences in India. The car maker has been grappling to garner good number of sales since last few months; hence the launch of facelift models of both the vehicle during festive season is an attempt to give a bump to its sagging sales.
Sources close to the development have revealed that Chevrolet has focused mainly on enhancing the interiors of Sail twins. Among the additional features incorporated inside the cabin, a 2-Din audio system equipped with blue back-lit display with Bluetooth connectivity and a two-tone colour scheme featuring black and beige shades will be included.
Mechanical set up will remain unchanged and both the vehicles will continue to be powered with the same engines. Petrol variants will house the same 1.2 litre petrol engine and the diesel range will get 1.3 litre Fiat sourced SMARTECH engines. On the price front it is expected that both the vehicles will be offered at the same price. More details will be revealed on the day of launch.
