A case of car bomb explosion has been reported from Western Baghdad on October 4, 2012, which has killed around five individuals and left thirteen other wounded, as confirmed by Iraqi police and health officials. Two police officials said that the car fitted with bomb was parked in the upscale Mansour district and fortunately missed a moving convoy of workers, which were employed in a foreign security company.

Reportedly, the names of three police officials were also included in the list of individuals wounded in the attack. The figures of causalities were confirmed by a medical official of a nearby hospital. All the officials, talking to the media, did not disclose their identity as they were not authorised to do so.

However, violence has been dropped out from Iraq ever since the height of insurgency has taken place a few years ago, but militants there are still in a practice of launching deadly attacks, basically in capital Baghdad.
