      BMW opens new technical training center in Gurgaon, India

      German car-maker BMW has unveiled a new training facility in Gurgaon, Delhi to train resources in dealing with service, spare parts, sales and business systems associated with the BMW India group. The 160 Million project is stated to be spread over 2.2 acres with eight training units. As per sources, the training center is capable of rendering a capacity of about 18,000 Training Man-Days (TMD) per year.

      Mr. Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India said, “The BMW Group Training Center is an extension of BMW Group’s commitment to India. This training center will allow us to provide intensive training in Sales, Service, Parts and Business Systems to BMW Group India associates and our retail network to ensure customers receive best-in-class pre and post sales ownership experience.”

      The BMW group has a manufactured plant based in Chennai and has a parts warehouse in Mumbai location. The new technical training facility in Gurgaon shall also facilitate in train international resources along with the local resources. The BMW brand has been a popular choice of luxury car in the Indian market and with this new development, the company has taken a giant leap ahead to attain perfection with its produce for the local and international markets.
