      Buying a limited edition sedan comes with certain perks like – specially crafted interiors, exteriors and needless to say, commands attention everywhere you drive to! You needn't go further in looking for assistance in deciding a right limited edition sedan available in the country. Volkswagen surprised the Indian market with the launch of special edition of Vento sedan recently. On the other hand the special edition of the Skoda Rapid Ultima was launched in Indian market to mark a glamorous end of the current Rapid sedan in its current avatar.

      The limited edition of Skoda Rapid Ultima is available in petrol as well as diesel variant. The petrol version is powered by 1.6-litre MPI that generates about 103 Bhp of peak power at 5250 rpm and 220 Nm of torque at about 3800rpm. The diesel version gets a 1.6-litre TDI engine that generates about 103bhp of power at 4400rpm and a maximum torque of about 250 Nm at 2500 Rpm. As per ARAI tests, in terms of fuel efficiency figures the Soda Rapid Ultima delivers about 14.3 kmpl in petrol version and delivers about 20.5 kmpl in the diesel version. For safety, the sedan features Height-adjustable three-point seat belts at front, Emergency triangle in the luggage compartment, Child-proof rear door locking, Dual-tone warning horn and Door-open indicator as a standard feature. Whereas, features like ABS, Dual Rate brake assist , Driver front airbag, Fuel supply cut-off in a crash, etc comes as standard in the upper variant.

      For the interiors, the Ultima sedan gets Garmin and Tom-Tom navigation, audio system with USB and Aux-in support, on-board computer, Bluetooth phone connectivity, multi-function steering wheel, leather trim seat covers, Sill moldings and floor mats with the Ultima branding. On the exterior front, the car has not received major cosmetic upgrades except for new Roof and side foil along with new set of alloy wheels that compliment the vehicle. The special edition of Skoda Rapid Ultima is offered at a starting price of Rs. 8,33,156 Lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).

      The Volkswagen Vento is expected to be launched in Petrol and Diesel variant. The petrol version is expected to be powered by a 1.6 litre engine that generates a maximum power output of about 103 Bhp along with a top torque of about 153 Nm. Diesel variant is likely to receive 1.6 litre power-train that generates about 103 Bhp of power with 250 Nm of torque respectively.

      The Limited edition of Vento sedan shall be loaded with interesting features like distinctive side door protectors, reverse camera with navigation, chrome embellishment on window lines, sporty alloy wheels, stylish side door visors and sleek trunk spoiler. Added to it, the sedan comes with complimentary offers like free 1 year insurance and roadside assistance for four years. Volkswagen has not officially confirmed on the pricing aspect, but it is anticipated that the limited edition may cost about Rs. 40000 extra as compared to a regular version.
