      Bajaj Auto aims sales of 2500 Pulsar RS200 units per month

      Bajaj Auto, one of the top bike manufacturers in India, is banking heavily on its new launch Pulsar RS200. The model, launched only a few days back, has generated tremendous interest from customers, media and critics. According to a report by Auto Car Professional, Bajaj Auto has set its sight on selling 2500 units of Pulsar RS200 every month. The firm hopes to reach this figure with both ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and non-ABS versions to contribute equally.

      This Pulsar is said to be the fastest ever and comes with a wide range of features, which enhance both performance and convenience for customers. Notably, this RS200 is the first in this series to feature ABS and a single-channel unit made from Bosch. Pulsar is one of the most successful series in the history of Indian bike market and Bajaj Auto wants to take it to the next level with RS200. The launch of Pulsar RS200 drew excellent reviews from critics and it was appreciated for its fabulous appearance. Due to its pricing and style, this model with compete with the likes of Hero Karizma R, KTM RC200 and Yamaha YZF-R15.

      Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is fitted with a 199.5 cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine that produces a power level of 23.5 BHP and 18.6 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed transmission system and top features of this bike include twin projector headlamps, stubby exhaust, split seats and crystal LED tail lights. According to Bajaj, Pulsar RS200 can reach a top speed in excess of 140 kmph.

      Bookings for Bajaj Pulsar RS200 have commenced in the country and customers can book it by making a down payment of Rs. 5000. The RS200 is available for ex-showroom Delhi prices of Rs. 1.3 lakh (ABS version) and Rs. 1.18 lakh (non-ABS version).
