      Auto Companies offering huge discounts this festive season to finish the year on a high note

      With Diwali just a few days away, auto companies are making their best efforts to lure as many buyers as possible. Auto makers this year has not been successful in achieving a good sales figure, amid rising fuel prices, slow economic growth and high interest rates. The auto companies have heavily banked upon the festive season to increase their sales and have even come up with new models. A large number of companies are offering plum discounts and offering freebies in an effort to attract buyers to their dealerships across the country.

      Tata Motors tops the chart of the companies offering discounts this festive season on its various models. The company is giving a discount ranging from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 1,30,000 on accessories, extended warranties and its models. The company promises to give a benefit of up to Rs. 1 lac on the Indica Vista Petrol and Rs. 55,000 on its diesel variant. Nano is coming with a benefit of up to Rs. 25,00 and Rs. 40,000. Moreover, benefits of up to Rs. 1.3 lac on Manza (Petrol) and Rs. 70, 000 on its diesel variant is being offered, apart from Aria Pure coming at a special festive price of Rs. 9.95 lacs. Sumo Gold, Safari DICOR and Venture models are also coming with special offers. The company is also providing exchange offer of up to Rs. 50,000.

      India's automotive giant Maruti Suzuki is also not behind when it comes to giving special offer this festive season. The company is offering a discount of Rs. 35,000 on all the variants of Estilo valid till November 30, 2012. The petrol variant of Wagon R as well as its CNG variant, along with A-Star is available at a good discount.

      Japanese Auto maker Honda is offering cash discounts, free insurance, loyalty exchange bonus and even accessories to attract buyers. Honda Siel Cars India senior vice-president, sales and marketing said, "We are offering special schemes for our customers during the festival season. A Re 1 insurance programme has been offered for Brio, City, Civic and Accord." He further added that depending upon the model, benefits and locations, the discount offered may go as high as Rs. 60,000.

      Ford India too is offering huge discounts in order to attract buyers and increase its sales. Similarly, almost all other auto makers of the country are also offering a good discount with a hope that this festive season will bring a lot of sales and happiness.
