      Amritsar gets a new HM-Mitsubishi dealership

      Hindustan Motors Limited (HM), the well-known maker of iconic Ambassador models, inaugurated a new Mitsubishi range dealership in Amritsar on August 22, 2012. The move of the company has moved its total number of dealerships in India to 39 among which 12 are based in North India alone. Presently, the auto maker has maintained Mitsubishi range dealerships in four cities of Punjab, namely Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Mohali.

      The new Amritsar dealership is termed as M/s Kapoor Motors. Speaking on the launch, Uttam Bose, Managing Director of HM, quoted, “Punjab has always nurtured a special fondness for the macho Mitsubishi sports utility vehicles. Our vehicles and the people of Punjab share the rare mix of strength and go-getter ability. The rugged Mitsubishi SUVs can take you anywhere any time. No wonder, these renowned automobiles appeal to the spirit of those who want to explore the back of the beyond racing across the most difficult and challenging terrains. At the same time, our SUVs serve as most comfortable and luxurious modes of travel on city roads.” Ashish Kaul, Head of Sales and Channel expansion, HM also accompanied Bose at the inauguration ceremony.

      Reportedly, the owner of new dealership, Revant Kapoor, belongs to a very reputed family and boasts of a vast experience in automobile business. The new dealership M/s Kapoor Motors is based at a prime location of the city, alongside of the Grand Trunk road, NH-1 with the showroom situated on plot number 12, National City Homes.

      The state-of-the-art showroom spans over an area of 6000 square feet, featuring an effective servicing area. Besides 800 square feet reserved exclusively for storing spares, the new facility of the company is equipped with 14 bays, outstretching 16,650 square feet. Experts believe that the facility will easily service 25 vehicles a day. The unit currently employs 26 personnel, trained with L1 and L2 standards, who are capable enough to deliver world-class services to its customers. It was also revealed that among the employed troop, 8 will work in sales, while the remaining 18 will control the service department.

      Amritsar folks are known for their high standard lifestyle and adulation for premium and expensive taste in cars. M/s Kapoor Motors' line up of HM-Mitsubishi’s Pajero Sport, Montero and Outlander will fit right in Amritsar's stylish image and is expected to be a great hit among them.
